Developing new radio frequency (RF) antennas requires rigorous testing across a variety of configurations. Our client needed a fixture – or a system of fixtures – that could securely hold their antennas while allowing for adjustments to the antenna’s orientation during research and development (R&D) testing. The key requirement was open access to the back of the antenna, alongside ensuring the antenna’s center of mass aligned precisely with the fixture’s central axis.

We designed an adjustable fixture that provides the flexibility needed for comprehensive antenna testing. The fixture assembly features a robust, adjustable mechanism allowing for precise control of the antenna’s orientation. The design prioritizes ease of use and repeatability.
